Dr. Michael Leary

Dr. Leary is one of the very first physicians in the nation to meet the rigorous standards of education, experience, and evaluation required for certification by the American Board of Phlebology. Dr. Leary is also board certified in Emergency Medicine, and had a successful career in a level 1 trauma center with a faculty appointment at the University of Virginia in 1989. He practiced Emergency Medicine at prestigious Eisenhower Medical Center from l991 until founding California Vein Specialist in 2002. He has received extensive postgraduate training in phlebology. Dr. Leary has been recognized as a leading Orange County vein specialists and for his skill in performing endovenous laser procedures by acting as a national physician training center for the company that introduced the procedure.

Mimi Cohee

Mimi Cohee offers a wide range of services in our office - from front office staff scheduling and interacting with insurance companies to patient coordinator and advocate. Prior to joining California Vein Specialists, Mimi was a pharmaceutical sales representative, which enabled her to learn about the medical field and enable her to work closely with medical professionals. Her Business Marketing Degree was earned in 1989 from California State University, Long Beach. Mimi enjoys interacting with patients and helping to make your experience at California Vein Specialists pleasurable.

Nadia Rodriguez

Nadia is Dr. Leary's Certified Medical Assistant. She is trained and experienced in all aspects of endovenous and laser ablation procedures as well as all pre-op and post-op care.  She assists Dr. Leary in all of his procedures and has five years experience in the medical field.  Nadia has a great bed side manner and is a valued and trusted part of our medical team.

Vanessa Sarinana

Vaness Sarinana is a Front Office and Insurance Specialist as well as Dr. Leary's Ultrasound Technician.  "I originally came to Dr. Leary for an ultrasound tech internship. This was a very positive learning experience. I really enjoyed working with the patients and was fascinated with the laser technology Dr. Leary specializes in. As I continue to earn my hours for my license I have become a front office and insurance specialist here at California Vein Specialists."

Tammy Buccheri

Tammy Buccheri is our Marketing and Advertising Director. Monthly she carefully prepares emails to inform patients of new technologies, procedures, changes and specials. She is constantly planning with local publications her fresh and new ideas for advertisements. You will also find her in the front office answering phones, scheduling appointments and greeting patients. She is a great pleasure to have in our office.

Terry Becker

My name is Terry Becker and I work in the front office. I enjoy interacting with patients and making them feel comfortable in a warm, caring environment. I work at California Vein Specialist because I want to be in a place where everyone works together as a team and has high standards of care. I also like being in a position to find out about new advances in skin care and esthetic procedures. In my spare time I enjoy tennis and am working towards my teaching certification in yoga.

Bree Kinsey

Bree has been a licensed Aesthetician for 10 years in both California and Hawaii where she learned her "island" touch. Her unique approach towards skin care started on the island of Maui where she worked in 5-Star Resorts including St. Regis Monarch Beach. In any service she performs, you will notice Bree's attention to detail, including going above and beyond expectations you have experienced in facials and waxing in the past. Bree is credentialed in glycolic peels and microdermabrasion as well as specializing in problem skin including acne conditions.

Della Rodriguez
Aesthetician

Della Rodriguez has been a licensed Aesthetician for over 10 years. She specializes in anti-aging and acne skin care techniques. Della works with each client individually to help them achieve their long-term skin care goals. Della understands the importance of de-stressing the mind, body and spirit. Her calm relaxed demeanor will instantly put you at ease. You can feel her loving healing nature and touch in all of her treatments. She is especially experienced in all areas of waxing. Her specialty is in eyebrow design and Brazilian waxing. She is gentle, fast and thorough.
