Dr. Leary is one of the very first physicians in the nation to meet the rigorous standards of education, experience, and evaluation required for certification by the American Board of Phlebology. Dr. Leary is also board certified in Emergency Medicine, and had a successful career in a level  1 trauma center with a faculty appointment at the University of Virginia in 1989.  He practiced Emergency Medicine at prestigious Eisenhower Medical Center from l991 until founding California Vein Specialist in 2002.  He has received extensive postgraduate training in phlebology.  Dr. Leary has been recognized as a leading Orange County vein specialists and for his skill in performing endovenous laser procedures by acting as a national physician training center for the company that introduced the procedure.
   Mimi Cohee offers a wide range of services in our office - from front office staff scheduling and interacting with insurance companies to networking our services with other doctor's offices. Prior to joining California Vein Specialists, Mimi was a pharmaceutical sales representative, which enabled her to learn about the medical field and enable her to work closely with medical professionals. Her Business Marketing Degree was earned in 1989 from California State University, Long Beach.  Joyce
Joyce is the Esthetician in the Newport Beach Office. In May 2006, she joined the California Vein Specialist team. Joyce is a graduate from Paul Mitchell Skin Academy, and holds certifications from the Dermal Institute Los Angeles. As a caring professional, Joyce loves to help patients look and feel their best! She specializes in skin analysis, customized facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels and VelaShape treatments (Cellulite and Circumference reduction). My name is Terry Becker and I work in the front office. I enjoy interacting with patients and making them feel comfortable in a warm, caring environment. I work at California Vein Specialist because I want to be in a place where everyone works together as a team and has high standards of care. I also like being in a position to find out about new advances in skin care and esthetic procedures. In my spare time I enjoy tennis and am working towards my teaching certification in yoga.

 Tracy VanHorn

I have been a registered nurse since 1986 and have worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 1992. Although I have worked in the areas of family medicine, emergency medicine and taught various Nurse Practitioner programs, I have specialized in aesthetic medicine for the past three years. While I have a busy family life with my husband and two daughters, I attend as many seminars and classes as possible to constantly improve my skills and learn of the latest trend and techniques in the field of aesthetic medicine.
